How to speed up YouTube videos – 1.5x or 2x YouTube videos

1. Google Chrome Plugin (FREE)

Here are the steps to get this working:

1. Open Chrome
2. Enable HTML5 player: https://www.youtube.com/html5
3. Install Google Chrome Plugin: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/html5-video-speed-control/ejdipbccipeloijefbkiakckfhdbgocg?hl=en
4. Refresh browser

2. Restart browser

Note that method 1. and 2. only work in chrome and YouTube while method 3. works in multiple browsers and multiple video hosting sites.
